After posting last week’s writing, “Trusting God No Matter What,” a nonbeliever commented, “Trust God and nothing will ever get done.”
My reply, “Nothing will get done without God—including your next breath.”
There are some nonbelievers who think that those who believe in God are weak and feeble minded; and that He gives people a false sense of security.
On the contrary, a life without God places people in a false sense of security; where they are deceived into functioning in lifeless shadows—empty. Portraying images of life, but have no substance. God is the only One who can breathe life into those who are in this comatose state.
Believers are commissioned to share the love of God.
The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. (Matthew 9: 37-38)
Why put fuel in a car to just park it in a garage?
Why go to church and fill-up on spiritual-fuel? Hmmm!
Nonbelievers are watching believers under a microscope to see if they are hypocritical or authentic? Do they actually believe what is preached? Do their lives reflect what is preached? Do hard times break them or shape them? Do they live a life full of chance and luck, or do they live a life full of faith?
Believers are to go out into the world and practice what is preached.
Nonbelievers have believers under surveillance—24/7.
