Prayers Heaven Can’t Refuse

Prayers Heaven Can’t Refuse

May 7, 2017 Dr. Paulette Boston

If you want to boost your faith, pray prayers heaven can’t refuse. When you do, your faith will soar because those prayers have already been answered before they even entered into your mind. I’ll give you three examples of what I’m talking about.

Example #1:

A prayer God couldn’t refuse!

A few years ago I told God that I wanted to learn the ends-and-outs about the Bible. I was searching for something more in-depth than what I would receive in a “normal” church service. I wanted a format conducive to my learning style. People learn differently: some like hands-on, some benefit more from lectures, and so on; I wanted to be involved in a small gathering that tapped into the way I learn.

Well, you know God couldn’t refuse a prayer to teach His Word. Not long after I prayed, He placed me in a study group where the Bible is thoroughly analyzed in a way that compliments my learning style.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15)

Example #2:

A prayer God isn’t going to refuse!

My current prayer is for God to connect me with a prayer partner or partners. I want to be linked with like-minded people who love God and want to pray in an informal venue; no hidden agendas, no carnality, or inflated egos. People who are serious-minded about God. I’m talking beyond a programmed-structured church service. I need “extracurricular activities” to even begin to satisfy my ravenous appetite.

Before I retired I belonged to a group like that. When we got together, I would get  excited like a kid on Christmas morning. I literally clapped my hands and tapped my feet with the anticipation of getting ready to approach the Throne of Grace. I miss that!

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25)

Example #3:

A prayer God isn’t refusing!

My third example is an ongoing prayer request. I told God that I want to learn more about Him in a personal-intimate way. I want to be conscious of the Holy Spirit and the awesomeness of His power that’s within me at all times. I want my faith to pull the promises from the pages of the Bible and apply them to my life. I want God to have complete control over me.

Come near to God and he will come near to you. (James 4:8a NIV)

I’m sure after you read those three examples you can agree with me; those were prayers Heaven couldn’t refuse.

When you pray ask yourself, “How will my prayer glorify and expand God’s Kingdom?” Those prayers will get His attention.
