God has always given His people inside information as to what was going to take place in the world. Think about the highly-classified intelligence Noah was given about the devastation that was going to take place. (Genesis 6 & 8) God gave Abraham inside information about how He was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. (Genesis 18:17-19) Think about the highly-classified intelligence John received when he wrote the book of Revelation.
Insight and Wisdom
Stories like these are throughout the Bible. Inasmuch as today, God still gives His people inside information through His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives revelation knowledge that the world ignores, and truthfully can’t really understand. To them it’s foolishness—crazy. But God sees the world’s wisdom as foolishness. (I Corinthians 3:19) The foolishness of God is wiser than man. (I Corinthians 1:25)
Knowledge and Understanding
All day long believers receive round the clock briefings in the secret place. (Psalm 91) It is there where the Holy Spirit reminds them that they can lean, rely and confidently trust God to protect them from their enemies. It is in the secret place where angels bear them up in their hands if they should dash their foot against a stone. Who would dare believe that evil could be all around causing havoc, but those who can receive this divine intelligence will only be spectators; inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High.
Astute and Sharp
Highly-classified intelligence from the Holy Spirit gives Christians the faith to know that God exist, and that they can talk to Him, and He talks to them. (John 10:27) God has information that the world has not seen or heard of, but is revealed to His people. (I Corinthians 2:9-13)
