If you are a born-again Christian, God lives inside of you. Can’t get much closer than that! (1John 2:27) Take a moment and think about what this means: The Creator of creation is feeding you with wisdom that will confound the wise; He is showering you with favor that will turn heads; He generates power, through you, that mystifies the world; and demons tremble because of the Presence within you.
Why would you expect anything less than supernatural results?
May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. (Ephesians 3:16 AMP)
We perceive things as being impossible when we’re depending on our capabilities, instead of the abilities of the Almighty. It’s not our faith that’s causing supernatural results, but it’s our faith in God who causes these manifestations.
However, results don’t just happen because we wish them to, or even pray for them to. God is not our genie or Santa Claus waiting to heed to our every demand. He is our Lord not vice versa. These phenomenal occurrences are not for our amazement, amusement, or fame. Think about the supernatural powers generated through Moses’ rod. That was not for entertainment purposes.
God will supply the power to get His purpose done.
What assignment has God asked you to do? Don’t worry—you can do it. When the Holy Spirit gives you a task, He is going to empower you to get the job done; so receive His help by faith. Keep moving forward in the confidence of Who called you—expect supernatural results. Don’t be shocked when the impossible happens. (Luke 1:37)
Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super abundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] (Ephesians 3:20 AMP)
When we align ourselves to be used by God, why should we expect anything less than supernatural-paranormal results?
