With all the different beliefs in the world, coming to a consensus about anything is highly unlikely. Yet, one undisputed unanimous action will take place in the end: every knee will bow, every tongue will confess—Jesus Christ is LORD.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).
The Great Commission
Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He commanded His disciples to go out and spread the gospel; today’s Christians are mandated to do likewise. (See Matthew 28:16-20.) The way things are going in today’s world, this is not the hour for believers to hide their light under a bushel; if they don’t step up now, then—when?
I genuinely believe the Holy Spirit has assigned each Christian specific people to witness to; they could be in their families, on their jobs, a stranger in a grocery-store line, or across the seas. They might accept the gospel or not; nevertheless, it won’t change the fact that every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess:
Jesus Christ is LORD!
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).
