I’m realizing the cohesive connection between confidence and faith. We can’t have faith without confidence. How can we believe God even exist if we don’t have the confidence to believe that He does? We have to have confidence to know that God is real, and not only does He hear our prayers, but will answer them.
How can we hear what God wants us to do if we don’t have the confidence to discern His voice? How can we arrive at the destiny that He has planned for us if we don’t have the confidence to act on His will? If we don’t walk in confidence, we will remain in the wishing well—wishing we could. . .
Get out of the wishing well!
The devil will offer us his illegal suggestions to keep us trapped in that dead-end well. He wants us to walk around with our heads hanging down overloaded with fear and worry. How can we spread the good news of Christ in that pathetic state? We must be examples of God’s goodness, faithfulness, and love by living the Word.
Lift up your head, square off your shoulders, and walk in the confidence of God.
God will allow us to go through certain hardships. (Job 2:1-6; Luke 22:31) Nevertheless, He has empowered us to make it through if we are obedient to His Word and confidently walk in His supernatural power. God is our strength. (Psalms 46; 121) Therefore, the intensity of the circumstances has nothing to do with if we can make it through or not. Of course we can—and we will!
Confidence is a valuable asset—don’t let the enemy catch you without it!
