No one is immune to fear, doubt and worry. As long as we are alive on earth, we will be harassed by this dreadful combo. However, it’s good to know that these negative forces can’t control us when we are fully persuaded that God will meet our needs. So—ask yourself:
Am I fully or somewhat persuaded I can give my troubles to God?
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)
Am I fully or somewhat persuaded God will protect me from harm?
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17)
Am I fully or somewhat persuaded God will answer my prayers?
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. (1John 5:14-15)
If your faith will only reach the “somewhat” mark, then you are not—
Fully persuaded that God will do “it” for you!
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. (Romans 4:20-21)
